Dear FOL Committee,
I appreciate the grant of 300 Maloti issued me in early December.
Our trip, Dec 3-4, to Tsehlanyane National Park was successful, and we couldn't have done it without FOL help.
Eighteen members of the Phelandaba Primary Environmental Club, plus five adults, including a teacher, two Earthplan staff members and two Peace Corps Volunteers participated in the event. The work projects we did in exchange for the lodging cost at the park included erosion control and trail clearing. Enclosed find pictures showing boabuti (boys) cleaning out the roadside ditch, and boausi (girls) building rock water bars (and obviously having losts of fun!).

Besides having this hands on experience working for the park, the children were also able to see for themselves the beautiful pristine resource Tsehlanyane is.
The FOL grant money paid for most of the group's food for the 2 day outing. The money the club had raised by showing films and selling "mashalla a pampiri" (coal made out of recycled paper) covered transportation.
Thank you again for your support, Nancy Bailey/Rosisang Jonase c/o Earthplan P.O. Box 333 Butha Buthe 400
