Dear Friends of Lesotho,

A long awaited letter of thanks from the Basali Khoekong in Mafeteng. We are very appreciative of the money you have given us. We have made some small purses and have sold some, too! Mostly this was a learning exercise . . . We learned how to make the bags - and make them better. We also learned how to adjust the styles to suit the "market's" taste. We are very excited to move on from here and are in the process of organizing a crafts workshop in July - pictures to come.
